My Web quest

I really do not know if I will ever use a web quest, but I know that this was really different for me. I wish my teachers in the past would have done something like this for me. I think I could have had an easier year. I also think that doing this on White house Pets will be really cool.

Presentations!!!

Oh my goodness, this is not fun. lol. I am sorry that I stink at presentations. I did like the smart board presentation. I thought this would be great in classrooms. A teacher could save on wall space. This would be great for our little air in the classroom. Not spreading the dust from the chalk. I know I will ask for one of these when I am a teacher. Even though I will more than likely not get it, but it is worth the asking. The cyber bullying is really needed in the classroom. Teaching our students about the safety of this one thing I will do if I have computers in my classroom. THey need to know that what they put on the web, or say on the web, needs to be annonmys. FOR THEIR SAFETY!!!! I do not think I could live with myself if something would happen to one of my students.

Lesons, Lesons, and Plans!

I think that looking for a guid in lesson plans is something that every first yesr teache should do. I know it will be a little overwhelming the first year. This way they will have some type of guid to go by, incase they start to get a little hung up on a subject. Make sure that you read the lesson plan first before you try to use it. You need to make sure that the lesson is accurate and age appropriate.

Yes to Power Point!

I think this was the most fun I have had on a computer. I know I can not wait to do another power point presentation. I also liked how he had us put the pictures with the Gettysburg Address. I learned more about the war through those pictures than I did in high school. This is a good way to get our students to learn.

What is leagal or not?

I thought I knew what was legal or not. After class on Wednesday, I was really surprised. I now know I need to be really careful on what I do on the Internet. I was also really surprised on the the whole Disney and tattoo subject.

My Computer Experience!!!

I started using computers in 10th grade and then I fell in love with technology. I have found that this technology will be the biggest part of our lives. I have also started teaching my 3 1/2 year old son about computers. I think if they have good educational games, this is a good way to teach any child the basic functions of a computer and educate at the same time. I just bought a laptop off of ebay that had nothing but dos on it. I was able to start from scratch and set up my laptop. I was soooo excited. I still do not think I am real smart when it comes to computers, but I am willing to learn. This is my son Gage and my daughter Morgan. This is why I am back in school to better my education.
